Did Sunny Hostin Just Take a Jab at Elon Musk on The View?

Sunny Hostin has made headlines for expressing her deep disappointment over the presidential election results, stating that Donald Trump’s return to the White House has left her “profoundly disturbed.”

Hostin, along with the rest of The View co-hosts, has been outspoken in her support of Trump’s opponent, Kamala Harris. Throughout the election season, they openly criticized Trump, calling him “psychotic” and discussing his “levels of depravity” with their guests.

“In 2016, we didn’t know what we were getting with a Trump administration, but now we do,” Hostin said on the show. “Now, we’re looking at almost unfettered power.”

In response to Trump’s victory, Hostin followed through on a promise to delete her account on X (formerly Twitter), saying she didn’t want to be associated with Elon Musk, who recently accepted a government position as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

“I won’t buy a Tesla, and I won’t invest in Tesla stock,” she said, making it clear that she no longer supports Musk or his ventures.

Hostin went on to criticize Musk’s management of the social media platform, saying, “Twitter was already a mess before Elon Musk, but he made it worse. Changing the name to X was ridiculous, nobody even calls it that.”

Recently, rumors began circulating that Hostin called Elon Musk a “b*****d” on air during an episode of The View. Some reports even claimed co-host Joy Behar issued an apology on behalf of the show.

However, these claims have been debunked. No credible news outlets have verified the story, and no video evidence supports it. The alleged insult never occurred, and the story appears to be entirely fabricated.
