If anyone deserves to strut around in a shirt that says “I told you so,” it’s Davinci Jeremie.
Back in May 2013, he was the one who advised people to invest just $1 in Bitcoin, a decision that would have paid off massively if you had followed his advice.
Imagine how different things could be if more of us had listened to his bold prediction about the potential of Bitcoin. Jeremie, now ridiculously wealthy, shared a video on YouTube more than a decade ago, telling viewers they could become millionaires for the cost of a lottery ticket.
“It’s just a dollar, get some Bitcoins,” he said in the now-legendary clip.
“If it goes to nothing, who cares, you only spent a dollar. If I’m right, I want all of you to thank me. It won’t make me happy if you come back in 10 years saying, ‘I wish I listened to you back in 2011 or 2013.'”

At the time of Jeremie’s prediction, Bitcoin was valued at $116.75. Fast forward 12 years, and its value has skyrocketed to over $70,000, making those who took the gamble early incredibly rich.
As we’ve established, Jeremie is one of those people.
These days, he’s living the dream, vacationing in luxurious spots like Monte Carlo and Dubai, all while proudly wearing his “I told you so” t-shirt.
A quick glance at his Instagram will make you wish you had jumped on the Bitcoin bandwagon over a decade ago. He’s cruising around the globe on private yachts and planes, driving flashy cars, and still promoting cryptocurrencies online.
Jeremie makes sure no one forgets he was the one who urged us all to take that leap. His social media bios proudly highlight his claim to fame, constantly reminding everyone of his early prediction.
On X and Instagram, Jeremie’s bio proudly states: “I told you to buy #Bitcoin for $1 in 2011. Don’t miss it again!”
In a 2023 interview with Coin Telegraph, he reflected on how his early Bitcoin pitch had largely fallen on deaf ears.
“Every so often, something comes along that makes poor people rich because they got in at an insanely low price,” he shared. “This was one of those moments. I thought I was going to be a hero to my community, but instead, they thought I was crazy.
They actually believed I was losing my mind.”
