In plastic surgery terms, that means she opted for 445cc silicone implants with a moderate profile, placed partially beneath the chest muscle—a technique often used to create a more natural look.
The term “profile” refers to how much the implant projects outward from the chest wall when viewed from the side.
“There are different implant profiles—low, moderate, and high—chosen based on the patient’s body type and the results they’re aiming for,” Dr. Lyle Leipziger, chief of plastic surgery at North Shore University Hospital and LIJ Medical Center, explained to Elle.
Kylie’s selection of a “moderate” profile is typically considered one of the most natural-looking options available.
In a rare moment of candor, the beauty mogul recently shared the exact details of her breast implants.
“Half under the muscle” refers to a technique known as dual-plane implant placement.
“Many breast augmentations today are dual plane, meaning part of the implant sits under the pectoral muscle, while the lower portion rests beneath the breast tissue,” Dr. Lyle Leipziger explained to Elle.
This approach helps achieve a more natural look, allowing the upper part of the implant to blend smoothly with the chest muscle, while the lower portion provides fullness under the breast.
Kylie revealed in a 2023 episode of The Kardashians that she underwent breast augmentation at age 19.
“I got my breasts done before Stormi, not thinking I would have a child when I was 20. Like, they were still healing,” she recalled.
Now a mother of two, Kylie expressed regret over the decision, calling her natural figure “gorgeous.”
