Kayla Jade, a 30-year-old adult star from New Zealand, has opened up about the challenges of managing her period while working with clients.
The full-service sex worker, who now resides in Queensland, Australia, has been sharing candid insights into her career through confessional TikTok videos.
Since 2024, Kayla has been posting regularly on her TikTok account, where she talks openly about everything from unusual client requests to her earnings and what happens during bookings.
Known for her transparency, she often films these chats casually while going about her day, whether she’s eating, shopping, or doing her makeup.
In a recent video, Kayla explained that she had a booking later but was on her period.
She shared, “I’m probably going to cancel, but if I do decide to go, I need to get some period sponges. I don’t want to leak while I’m working.”
Kayla Jade revealed that while period sponges are available online, she decided to purchase them from a local adult-only store this time.
The video showed her walking into the store, with the bright blue sky overhead and her blonde hair blowing in the wind. She wore sunglasses and a black Van Cleef necklace as she chatted with her followers.
“Sometimes they don’t have them, and if that happens, I’ll just take it as a sign not to meet the client,” Kayla explained.
The video then cut to her inside the store, standing in front of a bowl of sponges wrapped in plastic. These sponges are designed to be inserted during intimate activities and removed afterwards.
“These aren’t my usual ones, but they’ll have to do,” she said before purchasing two.
Back in her car, Kayla shared her thoughts on the sponges, admitting, “I really don’t like these. The other ones have a little hook to help ‘fish’ them out, but these… I don’t know.”
Kayla Jade admitted that while she didn’t like the shape of the sponges, she felt they were better than nothing.
The blue-eyed internet sensation began her popular OnlyFans account in 2022, and since then, she has gained a significant following, 514,000 followers on Instagram and 1.9 million on TikTok.
In a November 2024 interview with Australia’s MamaMia, Kayla shared how “wild” it was to see her videos gaining so much attention.
“It’s kind of wild how much traction my videos are getting,” she said. “It’s been really natural for me to talk about the work I’m doing, and it’s been so lovely to get this kind of cult following, like, I’ve found my girls. It’s like FaceTiming a friend!”
Kayla explained that she had been creating online adult content for three years before transitioning into full-service sex work in the past 12 months.
She added, “I’m used to having men watch my content, but on TikTok, my audience is 99 percent female. A lot of them are moms, maybe women who didn’t get to have that wild time in their twenties and now enjoy living vicariously through me.”
