Comedian Natalie Cuomo was wrapping up her weekend performances in Washington D.C. when a front-row audience member decided to respond to one of her jokes.
In a TikTok video shared on February 3, comedian Natalie Cuomo can be seen engaging with the crowd when a man, whom she described as a “little man,” interrupted after she jokingly suggested he was in a relationship with his friend.
The man retorted, “It’s not my fault that you don’t have material. I can roast you too, you can’t roast all of us and get nothing.”
Cuomo initially remained composed as the audience reacted to his comment, suggesting he was uncomfortable with her playful remark about him being gay. But when he claimed he could take the mic, the comedian lost her cool.
She snapped, “There’s so many people coming together to be supportive, and you’re putting out negativity,” before shouting directly in his face, “No, look me in the eyes! You’re putting negative f***ing energy out there!”

The crowd was loving it as Cuomo refused to back down, taking a sip of water while the audience chanted her name. She then coolly told the heckler, “You can leave.”
But the drama didn’t stop there. When Cuomo noticed the man’s friend texting him, she couldn’t help but call it out as “cute” and waved off his reluctance to leave.
Cuomo then read the text messages aloud to the crowd: “Lol what a f***ing clown. I did warn you I would get kicked out. Man, she is sensitive, especially for a comedian.”
