Videos of Cybertrucks getting stuck in various conditions have been surfacing more frequently, with online communities poking fun at Tesla’s electric truck. A Reddit group called Cyberstuck is even dedicated to showcasing these moments.
In this latest viral clip, filmed in Montreal after heavy snowfall, a Cybertruck driver attempts to maneuver out of a snow-covered parking spot. Despite repeated efforts to reverse and accelerate forward, the vehicle’s wheels spin helplessly, failing to gain traction. Meanwhile, more affordable cars pass by with little difficulty, adding to the embarrassment.
The video, posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user Boston Smalls, was paired with a remix of 50 Cent’s In Da Club and the caption: “100 grand to watch a little Honda drive by you.” The post quickly gained traction, racking up over 25 million views.
Tesla fans and critics alike have flooded the comments, debating whether the issue lies with the truck’s weight, tires, or driver experience in snowy conditions.
“This is painful to watch,” one user commented, while another speculated, “The vehicle is simply TOO HEAVY!”
It remains unclear what type of tires the Cybertruck in the clip was using. Tesla advises owners to equip winter tires or tire chains in snowy and icy conditions, stating on its website:
“Use winter tires to increase traction in snowy or icy conditions. Tire chains provide additional traction when driving in snowy or icy conditions. Check local regulations to determine if they are recommended or required during winter months.”
Despite Tesla’s guidance, the video has only fueled ongoing debates about the Cybertruck’s real-world performance, especially in harsh winter weather.
