Kourtney Kardashian is setting the record straight after false rumors spread online claiming her 15-year-old son, Mason Disick, had fathered a child.
Taking to her Instagram Story on March 2, Kardashian, who rarely addresses online gossip, felt compelled to speak out.
“These Lies Are Not True”
“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child, and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not,” she wrote.
“Mason does not have a child. These accounts pretending to be him are FAKE.”
The reality star and mother of four then urged the media to respect Mason’s privacy.
“Please Leave My Kids Alone”
“My son really values his privacy, and I ask all media to please be respectful, he’s a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies,” she continued.
Kardashian also called out social media users making content about her children.
“To all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
Kourtney shares Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10, with her ex Scott Disick. She also has a 15-month-old son, Rocky, with husband Travis Barker.
Where Did the Rumors Start?
The speculation about Mason surfaced after his father, Scott Disick, spoke about his son’s interest in dating during an episode of Khloé in Wonderland, Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, which aired on January 8.
“Even recently, he’s starting to really like girls. And obviously, girls like him,” Disick shared. “I just said, ‘You know, you can do whatever you want, just don’t lie and don’t manipulate any girls.’”
Disick added that he advises Mason to always be honest in relationships:
“If a girl tells you she wants to maybe do something with you and hook up or whatever, if she knows that you’re not in a relationship with her, don’t tell her you are just to get something out of her.”
While this lighthearted conversation had nothing to do with the false paternity rumors, social media quickly twisted the narrative, leading to Kardashian’s public response.
Now, Kourtney is making one thing clear: Mason is a regular teenager, and she won’t stand for false stories about her kids.
