After Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus’ nearly 30-year marriage ended, both of their new relationships have sparked controversy. Billy Ray went viral after getting engaged to a younger woman he met on the set of Hannah Montana, though they have since split.
But Tish’s relationship has raised even more eyebrows.
It’s been reported that her new husband, Dominic Purcell, used to date her daughter, Noah. And now, Miley is said to have shared her thoughts on the situation.

Billy Ray and Tish share children Brandi, Miley, and Noah, as well as sons Trace and Braison. Their divorce created significant rifts within the family.
In April 2023, Tish announced her engagement to Australian actor Dominic Purcell, and the two married in a private ceremony at Miley’s Malibu home that August.
Fans quickly noticed some key absences from the wedding, Noah and Braison were missing, sparking speculation about a family divide. Noah posted photos with Braison, who had flown to California to visit her during the wedding, which many fans interpreted as a subtle message of support for their dad.
Noah even wore a Billy Ray Cyrus T-shirt on her mom’s wedding day.
Sources later revealed that Noah wasn’t invited to the wedding, and the reason behind it is surprising.

According to a source close to the situation, Tish “stole” Dominic from Noah. The insider told Us Weekly, “Noah was seeing Dominic when Tish started pursuing him. Tish was aware of the situation, and it’s caused a lot of turmoil between them. Noah is distraught over Tish taking Dominic from her.”
Another insider shared with People, “Noah and Dominic had an off-and-on friends-with-benefits situation. When they stopped seeing each other, Tish began her relationship with Dominic. Tish knew they’d been involved.”
The source also claimed that Tish didn’t give Noah the opportunity to talk about what had happened before marrying Dominic.
Amid the fallout from this drama, sources revealed that Tish and Dominic have been focusing on communication and even sought therapy together.
Despite the tension, Noah has posted a birthday message to Tish on Instagram, showing signs of reconciliation. The two have also been seen spending time together in Los Angeles.

According to an insider, Miley was caught off guard by the situation. “Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic,” the source said. “She confronted her mom about it. She thinks it’s a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy.”
