A woman has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing her dog, with court records indicating that over 150 videos allegedly serve as evidence of the crime.
The case began in 2021 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children flagged a Snapchat user suspected of sharing illicit content involving a minor. This tip prompted an investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police into 31-year-old Brennah Montgomery.
In August 2022, police executed a search at Montgomery’s residence, reportedly uncovering 153 videos depicting the sexual abuse of her dog. She was subsequently arrested in May 2024.
According to 8 News Now, Montgomery denied downloading child sexual abuse material, instead claiming that her phone had “automatically downloaded” videos from a group chat on the encrypted messaging app Telegram.
She later admitted to sending three videos over Snapchat that depicted the sexual exploitation of a child.
During a search of her property, authorities discovered 153 videos allegedly involving Montgomery and her dog. While some of the videos were duplicates, investigators noted that a few showed an obscured view of a woman using peanut butter, and five videos allegedly captured Montgomery’s partial or full face.
According to the arrest report, Montgomery admitted to engaging in sexual acts with the dog but claimed she did not force the animal into any actions.
Last week, she pleaded guilty to one count of bestiality, a gross misdemeanor, and one felony count of possessing visual depictions of child sexual exploitation.
A Facebook account under the name Brennah Montgomery features posts about a dog, though it remains unclear whether it is the same animal involved in the case.
A February 2024 post from Montgomery reads:
“Although it saddens me, I realize now is the best chance for both of us; new beginnings will bring immense joy & success, especially for dearest Piper! I am no longer able to provide her with the care and attention she deserves. Home is where the heart is.
“Let’s help Piper find her sanctuary! If you have any leads or recommendations for trustworthy adoption centers, please let me know!”
Montgomery’s sentencing is scheduled for May 12. If convicted, she faces up to seven years in prison, a $7,000 fine, and will be required to register as a sex offender.
