I had no idea how easy this could be! After struggling with ants for weeks and wasting money on sprays and traps that barely worked, my aunt gave me one simple trick that actually solved the problem in minutes.
Here’s what finally worked:
She told me to mix 1 part borax with 3 parts sugar, then add just enough water to create a thick syrup. I soaked some cotton balls in it and placed them on pieces of cardboard along the ant trails. The sugar attracts the ants, and the borax does the rest.
They carry the mixture back to the colony, share it with the others, and within minutes I saw the ant traffic slow down. In just a couple of days, the whole colony was gone.
It’s cheap, super easy, and when used correctly, totally safe. Just make sure to keep it out of reach of pets and kids. Bonus tip: sealing cracks and keeping your place clean helps keep them from coming back. Total game changer.
