A woman set out to break a world record by hanging from her hair, and she succeeded.
Leila Noone, a 39-year-old professional circus performer, spent an incredible 25 minutes and 11.3 seconds suspended by her hair at Redwood National and State Parks in California. This feat earned her the Guinness World Record for the longest time hanging upside down by hair, beating the previous record of 23 minutes and 19 seconds set by Australian Suthakaran Sivagnanathurai in 2011.
Noone achieved this extraordinary stunt using a harness clipped to her hair, allowing her to twirl and even hold yoga poses while hanging in the air. Her impressive performance was captured by Guinness World Records, showcasing her skill and strength.
This accomplishment didn’t come overnight, Noone trained for two years to prepare for this unique challenge. Beyond her record-breaking act, she’s also appeared on shows like American Ninja Warrior and performs regularly with the troupe Accidental Acrobats.
